A sedan designed by a California startup Coda Automotive and manufactured by a Chinese car manufacturer Hafei are poised to launch the first “highway capable” electric sedan.  Whew!  We have been waiting a long time for this one.   This sedan will have a range of 100 miles and will run completely off of electricity.  With a heap of government support and subsides the sticker price will be cut by 1/3 making it possible for you to own one of the most environmentally friendly vehicles on the road for a measly $30,000.

If this particular car doesn’t suit your fancy don’t worry, as the auto industry is intensly competitive, many other manufacturers are poised to release their version of an electric sedan shortly after Coda Automotives car hits the Highway.
